Ever since I noticed this blog that purely consisted of my favorite color palette, pinks and pastels, I knew for sure I was going to like the girl behind it. I’ve been following Chantal’s blog, to many as you known as Cocorosa for quite a bit now! I have much respect for her, not only was she one of the first bloggers out there, she remained such a cute blog for all this time, which is very hard work as we all know. I’m very happy we met and I always listen wisely to her tips so I thought it would be interesting and fun to introduce you guys to her!
How would you like to introduce yourself to my readers?
Haaa no idea! I’m super honored with this post as I really adore your style. My name is Chantal and I’m a Dutch blogger loving photography and pastels! I’m a dreamer who loves to travel and I really hope to inspire people.
I think a lot of girls start a blog for the wrong reason these days, mostly because of the perception they get from all the media. As you were one of the first bloggers I think it’s interesting to hear what triggered you to start a blog.
Creativity! I loved the idea of new trends being created by bloggers through styling and diy’s, trends starting on the streets (and blogs) as opposed to being dictated by the runway and stores. I was working as a trend forecaster and noticed new trends starting on the blogs, I loved it!
Ultimate tip for aspiring bloggers?
Be yourself and love what you do! Being unique by just being yourself and doing what you absolutely love to do (and doing it a lot) are the best ingredients to any blog. (post regularly and have good quality photos too)
How do you see the blogging world in 2 years from now?
I think we will see more bloggers reaching the celebrity status (or being close to celebrity status) and we will see more bloggers branching out. (on tv, starting their own fashion labels and stores etc) I also hope to see more creative bloggers with a super own (crazy) style creating totally new trends!
3 random facts about you people might surprise?
I’m an absolute Netflix junky!, I think a big bowl of vanilla ice cream with M&M’s is the perfect remedy for almost everything and I’m actually more of a tomboy than a girly girl (personality wise)
What do you think will be the biggest trend this winter?
Over the knee boots and oversized coats and sweaters, I would love to combine big knits with midi length silky skirts and dresses!
Thanks Chantal! I hope you guys enjoyed finding out a little bit more about her and enjoy her blog as much as I do! Who shall I interview next? Let me know!
