ALWAYS ON TIME

These last couple of days have been very insane. We have traveled from Amsterdam to Los Angeles, to Mexico, to Palm Springs, back to Los Angeles and via Amsterdam to Ibiza. Crazy flight itineraries like this result in a couple of things I’m not too proud of. First being, although the title of this post would beg you to differ, I’m never on time. A hectic lifestyle has given me a complete wrong feeling of time. From today on this will change as I’ve decided to start wearing a watch again. The fact that this watch by Armani Exchange is so pretty definitely helps ease me back into wearing one! I love Armani Exchange because of the versatility of the products they offer – so easy to style and I can mix and match their items with virtually anything I want to wear!

Another thing that comes with the crazy traveling is the opportunity to see many things I could only dream of. For instance, if there’s one place in Los Angeles I could never possibly get bored of  it would be the LACMA. The entrance, where we shot this look, is a complete dream. This installation by Chris Burden called ‘Urban Lights’ lights up the ‘desperate’ part of Wilshire Boulevard and always gives me the ‘Alice in Wonderland’ effect. Whenever I walk here I seem to forget about place and time as the surrealism draws me away from what I am doing, just as my flight itineraries seem to do…
