Let’s talk about denim today. I got challenged to style three different looks with one denim item, which is something I’ve done many times before. I mean, who doesn’t’ have one favorite jeans and wears it day and night? See below the looks I created and see how to shop them and why I came up with these! This post is created in collaboration with River Island and right from the start I knew I wanted to wear these jeans in all three looks. As I know you guys all love River Island I made sure to get a promo code which you can use for the next two weeks online and in the stores! The code is Denim20C and you guys get 20% off denim with this one! And next to that you guys have the chance to win a year long free denim by subscribing to their newsletter by clicking here.
And last but not least: don’t forget to tell me in the comments below which look you like the most, I can’t wait to find out!
For the first look I decided to go for one of my current favorite styles: denim on denim. Is there something that screams 70’s more than this? I don’t think so! Since taking this picture I found myself wearing this shirt at least 3 times already, which is a pretty high score knowing the fact that most items don’t even get a repeat score. To complete the 70’s feel I added a bit of camel to the outfit with these awesome laced up suede shoes.
As I can’t wait for fall to arrive (I know it’s a bit crazy) I decided to also style one of the looks with a touch of fall. The love I currently feel for these boots is just indescribable, I wear them everyday that’s how comfy they are, and the trench will also make it to my fall staple section.
The last look is casual, but still chic enough to wear to the office (if you can wear jeans that is). A good white shirt is an essential in every closet and there is no combination more classic than jeans and a white shirt. The shape and fit of this one is amazing and the buckled shoes keep the outfit fashionable.
